Dear Rabbi and Mrs. Wachsman,
I just wanted to thank you for the most memorable
summer ever. I miss everything about lagitt. It was
just so amazing to see everything we learned in
school in the tanach right in front of my eyes. The
hikes, museums, water sports,tours, etc... were so
much fun. I was having fun while I was learning. I
don't know what I'm going to do about next summer
because nothing will ever compare to the incredible
experience I had on lagitt. The girls on the
tour were just so special. Everyone was soooooooooo
nice and so warm to each other.The madrichot were
amazing!!!!!!!!! They put their whole hearts into
making sure we understood the meaning behind
everything ,and they made everything fun and
interesting. Your caring and warmth for each girl
individually made everyone feel at home.Your hard
work paid off! Thanks for giving me a once in a
lifetime experience!

summer I was a little nervous because I didn't know anyone going.. but I
took a chance and went and it was the best thing I ever did!! I made so many
close friends and I am really obsessed with Israel and want to go back so

really know if this was going to be the 'best summer
of my life' like LAGITT.com exclaimed. Believe me, I
could not have been more wrong....the trip was
100 times even better than I ever imagined it could
be. I really want to thank you for an amazing trip.
This was the highlight of my year (you can ask
anybody) and I was really inspired to see things
through a much more positive light. I've made
genuine and indescribable (is that a word)
friendships that I doubt I would ever have found in
any other camp. In fact, I'm keeping in touch with
many, and I hope it remains that way.
Mrs. Wachsman- What can I say? You truly were the
'mommy of us all'. I felt so comfortable talking to
you, and sharing things with you that I normally
wouldn't with any other "camp director". Your care
and encouragement was beautiful. . I found your care
and funny-ness so helpful; I'm sure you don't know
how much it meant to me at the time. It still does.

Rabbi Wachsman- Thanks for giving us those great
shiurim and daily lessons on the bus. I was
interested and I want you to know that I took things
from them, and I'm grateful you told them to us.
Also, thanks for being the 'Picture Man', sending
all those pictures to our parents so they wouldn't
worry. My parents were very grateful, I can tell you
that much!
So, Rabbi and Mrs. Wachsman, I just want you to know
that this was the most incredible, amazing summer of
my life. If I could do it again, I definitely

indescribable experience this past summer. I
never thought one can spiritually grow
tremendously and have an amazingly fun filled
summer until I was fortunate enough to go on LAGITT. Before I came on LAGITT I did not have
a understanding of what Eretz Yisroel is and I
now feel I have a strong love, connection and
understanding of Eretz Yisroel the place all
Jews feel is their home. Rabbi And Mrs.
Wachsman with their wonderful experience were

Dear Rabbi and Mrs. Wachsman,
As I am now sitting on the plane and am able to reflect
on the most unbelievable summer of my entire life, I
just wanted to make sure you know how much "hakaras
HaTov" we all owe to you both. Without you, I would
never have been able to have this amazing experience.
You are both so giving and the endless time and effort
you spent on us does not go unrecognized. I can't even
imagine how much work you put into LAGITT, but I do know
that all the hard work is well worth it.
Rabbi Wachsman: I feel that I have learned and gained so
much from you over the past month. From the very start
of the day, your "divrei Halacha" on the bus were always
inspirational, and I feel that my personal Tefilah has
improved because of it. Your extensive knowledge of
history really helped me understand where I was and the
significance of every place we went... Thank you for
being our photographer and creating memories for us that
will last beyond the summer. And of course, thank you
for putting up with 48 teenage girls for 4 weeks, and
THAT is a real statement.
Mrs. Wachsman: Every single day you continues to amaze
me with how much care and concern you had for us. You
were even beyond our "mommy". Thank you for always
watching out for us..; you were always on top of things,
and I was never worried because I knew you would always
be there to organize and work things out. Thank you for
always being so patient with us, regardless of the
stress you were under. You were always prepared for
anything we could need, from a plastic bag to a lactaid.
Thank you for always being open and available to us for
whatever we needed, and for always being open to a
schmooze! You are honestly an amazing role model for me
, as well as everyone else, and I hope one day to be
able to be like you. I can truthfully go home now and
say that I had the most amazing, exciting,
inspirational, educational and eye opening summer of my
life and I owe that to both of you.
